I’m sorry…. but these pokemon look retarded. All of the newest generation of pokemon look really stupid.
SOME of them look stupid. I’m not a fan of the combo Kyuurem with Zekrom or Reishiram, but a lot of the new gen have grown on me since I first got a look at them. That’s the way it is with Pokemon, in my opinion at least. Usually, you get a first look and are absolutely disgusted. But then you get to play, and really, the look of the pokemon doesn’t matter. What matters is it’s type combination, it’s move set, how it works in a battle. I was really, incredibly unimpressed with some of the Black/White pokemon, but some of them blew me away.
I’m still disappointed in Emboar, and I usually go with fire starters, but Samurott turned out to be pretty badass. I fucking adore my Archeops, she looks derpy as hell, but goddamn I can one hit just about anything. I mean, we even got some particularly destructive bug and grass pokemon this go around. That never fucking happens.
So yeah, I agree that they’re not always the most fun to look at, but looks don’t get you to the Elite Four, right?
